Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I'd like to give this place more stars, but is seriously overpriced, I suppose you can't expect an atmosphere in a garden centre cafe the people serving obviously don't have a clue, and if you walk around looking for plants most are dying"
"Lovely place to sit outside with coffee and catch up with friends, plenty of parking."
"Reasonable priced coffee, little disappointed with bacon sandwich.. Nice to sit outside on a warm sunny day"
"Very relaxing place with tables outside and a marquee if the weather is not so good. Dogs are welcome. Also they do a nice bacon roll."
"I enjoyed a delightful Full English Breakfast for £10.99 at Coffee Haven, Sprowston Garden Centre this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that my meal included a Cumberland sausage, which adds a unique touch compared to most English breakfasts. There was a small mix-up when the staff member taking my order didn’t understand my request to have my egg "turned over," as I prefer not to have runny eggs. Fortunately, her colleague—presumably the cook—asked me to clarify. I learned that "turned over" means the egg is flipped and briefly cooked on the second side to set the white while keeping the yolk runny. Next time I will say hard egg. You learn something new every day!"
"Lovely Café in Sprowston garden centre, really nice coffee, fruit scone and sausage roll were delicious and not a bad price"
"A lovely little spot to relax and have a coffee and cake in. The garden centre is lush."
"I've been here a few times now and have always found it to be lovely, the food is good and the cakes are delicious The staff do a really great job considering the tiny kitchen they are working from, and yes sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but personally I find its lovely just sitting enjoying the surroundings outside with all the beautiful plants for sale near by. I urge people to visit the cafe on a sunny day when the Wisteria over the cafe is in full bloom, its simply spectacular!"
